Get No Bloat PDF

Bug fix. Clicking a web link inside a PDF used to open that website inside No Bloat PDF itself, taking over the window until the app was forced closed. Links in your documents now open in your default browser, the way you would expect, and the viewer window can no longer be led away from your PDFs at all. If this ever happened to you, end the No Bloat PDF task in Task Manager once and update; no reinstall needed.

Page editing. Open the Pages panel and you can now select pages and delete, reorder, copy, or export them, then save the result back into the PDF. Right-click a page for the menu, or press Delete. Every change can be undone before you save, and the page you deleted by mistake comes straight back. Also fixed: the links in the About box and Check for Updates never actually opened your browser, and closing a file with unsaved annotations, signatures, or page changes now warns you first instead of quietly discarding the work.

Two new tools. A signature tool in the toolbar: type, draw, or upload your signature, save up to five (a full signature and initials both fit), and place them on any page. And File > Sanitize Document, which rebuilds your PDF from scratch so the author name, title, creation tool, dates, XMP metadata, document scripts, and prior saved revisions are genuinely removed, not just hidden the way most tools leave them recoverable in the file. Everything runs locally, as always.

Fixes "Couldn't open" errors when opening PDFs on macOS 15 (Sequoia) and earlier. Version 1.2.0 relied on JavaScript features that only the very newest macOS ships, so documents failed to open on most Macs. The viewer now carries its own compatibility layer for every feature it needs, and every build is automatically installed and exercised on both macOS 15 and the latest macOS, with the rendered page verified, before release. If 1.2.0 showed an error dialog on your Mac, this update resolves it.

No Bloat PDF comes to the Mac. Native builds for Apple Silicon and Intel, signed and notarized by Apple, with the same tabs, bookmarks, menu bar, and zero-telemetry promise as the Windows version. Works on macOS 12 (Monterey) and later, including older Intel machines, keep your Mac's software updates current for best results. Known issue: on macOS 15 and earlier this build can fail to open documents; use 1.2.1 above instead.

A real menu bar. File, Tools, and About menus with one-click Save (Ctrl+S), Save As, and Print. Tabs now share the top strip with the menus and the toolbar dropped two redundant buttons, so more of the window shows your document. Toolbar icons are about 20% bigger and easier to click. About, Special Thanks, and license info open as quick in-app pop-ups.

Bookmarks you can keep. Add, rename, and delete bookmarks (including ones already in the file) and save them into the PDF itself, so they show up in Adobe and every other reader. New Bookmarks panel with a one-click "Save changes to PDF" button, a saved confirmation, and warnings before you close anything with unsaved bookmark changes.
